DIN Objectives
Clear, crisp images are the results of specially-coated achromatic DIN objectives. You'll find Kyowa's parfocal and parcentered 4x, 10x, 4Ox and lOOx (oil) objectives assure high resolution, making teaching and learning easier and more rewarding. Additionally, they are color-coded for quick indentification.
DIN Objectives
All objectives are parcentered and parfocal to minimize focusing procedures. Choice of achromatic objectives: 4x (N.A. 0.10), 10x (N.A. 0.25), 20x (N.A. 0.40) spring-loaded, 40x (N.A. 0.65) spring-loaded, 60x (N.A. 0.80) spring-loaded and 100x (N.A. 1.25) spring-loaded, oil immersion.
DIN Eyepieces
10x wide field eyepiece is standard. The huygenian 5x, 10x and 15x eyepieces are optionally available for use with monocular models.
Coaxial Focusing Knob
The gear-driven coaxial coarse and fine adjustment has a built-in slip clutch to protect gear train and specimen damages. Ball bearing focusing movement for smoother operation and less maintenance. Pre-set positive stop upward travel of the stage.
Plain Stage
The plain stage measures 120 X 130mm. It is permanently fixed to the stand to eliminate vertical movement and or vibrations and reduce maintenance. The stage is pre-tapped to accept an attachable mechanical stage at a later date.
Condenser Mount
The plain stage is equipped with focusable, spiral-type substage mount for vertical adjustment of the Abbe Condenser. This system lets students quickly adjust contrast to examine a wide range of specimens. The spiral focusing condenser mount has been pre-set at the factory in optimum operating position.
Illuminator Base
The built-in illuminator provides optically correct, full field illumination for any situation. It is tamper-proof, with tungsten 20W lamp, blue filter and collector lens. Everything is built right into the base. Changing the lamp is easily replaced through the base plate.
Abbe Condenser
Excellent illumination and resolution result from the precentered two-element 1.25 N.A. Abbe condenser with iris diaphragm. A blue glass filter is provided to enhance the image of most specimens. An adjustable aperture diaphragm quickly and precisely controls image contrast for optimum viewing.
Variable Illuminator Base
Variable illuminator base features an built-in tungsten 20W reflector bulb and brightness can be continuously regulated with a rotary knob.
In-stage Condenser
Microscope models with a triple nose-piece (4x , lOx and 40x objectives), are equipped with a built-in 0.65 N.A. condenser with a five-aperture disc diaphragm. The condenser is locked into the stage aperture; it cannot be removed, lost or damaged.
LSK.20.1 Sub-Stage Illuminator
This illuminator is ideal for use with the models 41-100 and 41-300 microscopes, and is normally used when illumination via the microscope mirror is inadequate. Comes with a 20W tungsten lamp and two replacement bulbs.
LSK-20-2 Sub-Stage Illuminator
When greater light intensity is required, the 20W LSK-20-2 illuminator with a built-in aspheric lens is available for brighter images. Comes with a 2OW tungsten lamp and two replacement bulbs.
MA Attachable Mechanical Stage
An optional rack and pinion graduated mechanical stage can be attached to the pre-drilled and tapped stage. This is recommended for the 100x objective, enabling demonstration of and familiarization with oil-immersion examination techniques.
Binocular Head
The standard binocular head offers the ideal 45° inclination angle for maximum comfort and rotates a full 360°. Exclusive dual diopter adjustments enable the operator to adjust for eye refraction differences. Microscopes with single diopter adjustments are parfocal only at one interpupilary distance setting. With the Biolux-12 binocular microscope, the eye-tube separation is adjustable from 54 to 74 mm to conform with individual interpupilary distances. Moreover, a special Kyowa coating process reduces light loss, delivering clear, bright images.
DIN Wide Field Eyepieces
Our WHE10x and WHE15x wide field eyepieces provide a large field of view, allowing you to easily meet a wide range of observation requirements. The standard WHE10x high eyepoint eyepiece has a field of view 18 mm diameter and built-in tamper- proof eyeguards reduce glare from overhead lights.
Graduated Mechanical Stage
Attachable mechanical stage provides a travel range of 75mm x 30mm X and Y directions respectively. Graduations are provided and the vernier will read to 0.1 mm for a accurate relocation of specimen areas. Standard right hand control knobs, (The left hand control is also available.).
SPH-TC-B2 Simple Slider Phase Contrast Attachment
This is a simple, low cost attachment of standard phase objectives 10x and 40x, individual phase annuli and darkground, and Abbe condenser. This attachment offers in one system, brightfield, darkground and phase contrast. For phase contrast microscopy, Kyowa offers the PH Ach Series of TC objectives.(green filter not included)
The double slider unit with condenser system, which enables brightfield, darkground and phase contrast observation by a simple change-over procedure. It requires no setting up or centering of the phase annuli, making it very simple to use.
NHS Photo-Monocular Head
In order to facilitate full and accurate viewing in combination with a photomicrographic system and TV system, Kyowa
offers the NHS (75% visual and 25% photo), photo tube A and B for simultaneous use of a camera system and C-mount
tube for CCTV display.
